About

I joined the Centre for Professional Ethics and the School of Law in Keele University in 2009.  I recently completed a PhD in Philosophy (Bioethics) at the Centre of Bioethical Research and Analysis (COBRA) and the Regenerative Medicine Institute (REMEDI) at NUI Galway.

My background is in Philosophy & Classical Civilisations (BA from NUI Galway) and Equality Studies (MSc from University College Dublin).

While I have broad interests reflecting my background in Philosophy and the inter-disciplinary fields of Bioethics and Equality Studies, a common interest is the notion of justice and equality applied to a variety of issues, such as assisted death, biomedical research, gender, capital punishment, the environment and education.
