About
Steve Allin obtained his BSc and PhD degrees at the University of Liverpool. He then carried out postdoc studies at the University of Florida with Professor Alan Katritzky, before returning to the UK as a Lecturer in Organic Chemistry at the University of Huddersfield. In 1997 he moved to Loughborough University where he was Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Reader, before moving in 2008 to take up his current position as Chair of Organic Chemistry at Keele University, UK.
His current research is based on the development of new methodology for organic synthesis, natural product chemistry, chemical biology and organic materials chemistry.
